Help with ID please

I just acquired what i believe to be a Remington rolling block but i am not sure, i will post a pic, any help will be appreciated.

I have some more info..35" bbl., 2 patent dates, Nov 15th 1864 and April 17th 1866, looks like it might be .45/70

I did some more searching with the info you gave,
I think you may have a Military Rolling block, could you give us a few more pictures such as where the patents are stamped?, I think it will say something like "REMINGTONS ILION, NY USA PAT MAY 3D NOV 15TH 1864 APRIL 17, 1866", as for the caliber it should and probaly is a .50/70

If it is as described then your looking at a ~$1000+ rifle depending on condition :thumbsup:

It is indeed a Remington Rolling Block. Show us a full length photo of the rifle. We've got a military model one at where I work.
