Lol, I say a month. I've never spent this much time with people I've hated to leave. Really, it still amazes me what great people we have here. Awesome is all I can say!

My wife said tonight that meeting the CWT folks was a highlight of our trip for her. That's saying a lot as initially she was just along for the ride on the Civil War parts of the trip. She was really impressed with everybody we met, the tours led by @cash and @Eric Wittenberg, and the James N. photo collection.

She's going to process her Gettysburg images that have group members in them first (2000+ images on the trip) so I can post them. Stay tuned !

There may not be that many (she's mostly focused on the "artistic" stuff) but she did take some of members on the tours we took.

Oh @PeterT is now a charter member and simply must attend all CWT talk functions as well as @Frums. I can't wait to plan the next one. @cash, @Eric Wittenberg and the rest of the gang need to shoot me Idea's. Actually Eric has already done so. I'm investigating the logistics as we speak. We also have a lot of interest in Shiloh and @7th Mississippi Infantry is offering help there. My goodness there may be career opportunities here. lol

@War Horse, it is always good to have a backup plan! A, B, or C.

I was paying attention, but I tend to need something to do with my hands when sitting. I am the one who peels the label from her beer bottles and shreds Styrofoam cups. I always took copious notes whilst in University, just to keep from fidgeting! It really was a great tour, Ryan!

A little different after action report: I have plans to submit my 2nd book to the printer today! I mentioned to a few of the assembled I was within 2 weeks. Indexing was done in 4 days; can you say tedious!

My dad never could understand how I could get straight A's, but earn the worst marks possible for behavior. Luckily for me, his English was limited, so he never felt comfortable calling the school about the "mistakes" on the card. Your little structure was irresistible, and I was expressing my enthusiasm for the topic matter

I will rather remind @MRB1863 that we have forgot (or hadn't time) to introduce me to a new field of learning: Coke floats!!
We forgot that we had a date at the icecream parlor!!
(But the frozen custard at Rita's was a pretty good substitute!)

It was actually a stick figure, and you kept blowing off arms and legs, and removing heads and internal organs. Quite apropos, given the subject matter of Ryan's discussion!

I had more ice cream in Gettysburg this year than I have had in the last four years altogether (4!!!!!) I am now working on shedding Mr. G"s Salted Caramel, Vanilla Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Peanut Butter cones that helped keep us cool on those sultry days in Gettysburg. Perkins was okay, as well!
