Great job; I've always liked a description of this particular photograph I read somewhere as showing Custer having had as many freckles as Howdy Doody!

Edit: What was the source for the lock of Custer's hair? I've seen one recently in the museum at Monroe, Michigan, that I think was very similar, if not actually the same one.
