Do you have a "favorite" cemetery in which to take photos?

I'm guessing you have one of the General buried in Jefferson,Texas with our famously difficult to photograph pink granite gravestone.

bdtex you are so right. I have wasted so much film on that Texas Monument at Vicksburg! I love it but only the human eye can read those ****** letters!

Do you have a "favorite" cemetery in which to take photos?

Hard to say....Bonaventure in Savannah was beautiful. Hollywood in Richmond has so many CW folks buried there. Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta is an old Victorian style cemetery. It is set up as a park/cemetery when folks would visit on Sundays and have picnics and catch up with family. Last time I was there a couple was getting married there since it is such a pretty greenspace in downtown Atlanta. I guess I'm saying that I like shooting them all.

I did enjoy Bonaventure Cemetery when we were in Savannah, creepy as all hell, but still lovely. I enjoyed Laurel Grove Cemetery very much as well during the visit in Savannah, Lafayette McLaws & Moxley Sorrel being the highlights there.

Thanks @mt155 for this thread. I love old cemeteries and it's way cool to see the final resting place of all these generals. Thanks to all who've added images. I've been lucky to see some of these but most are new to me.
