I believe as a matter of rank and military experience and training I should be the only person featured on the November 2019 cover of your magazine. I refuse to be photographed on an equal basis with that rank imposter from Tennessee. However, should you disagree, I will be happy to hold a military tribunal at which I shall be both defendant and judge.

I enclose forthwith the contract YOU sent me on August 16th. It seems that due to the "popularity" of some pretend-generals, you want to exclude me from the cover shoot or at least make me share it with...let me count...four other so-called officers who, frankly, couldn't shovel their way out from under a stinking, fly-ridden pile of that substance with which they are so familiar.

This one, in particular, fails to even honestly address his...er...problem, which resulted in his leaving the U.S. Army prior to the invasion of the northern states into our fair land of cotton. Furthermore, no general in either army has the ability to manage resources, personnel and miscellaneous personal stuff as I have been able to do. I won't even acknowledge that idiot Killcavalry.

Hmph. Hmph. Hmph.

I suggest you reconsider your offers to the other, common bunch of flunkies before I contact my lawyers.

Thank you for the offer to do your cover but I would rather do four years in Sing-Sing. You will misspell my name and will fail to drown in the Mississippi when you fall in. Reporters are reporters whether for magazines or newspapers! Sharing with that devil Forrest would be intriguing but, frankly, he scares the whey out of me.
