Nice I also see we have the same books. I met George Neumann several times and had him autograph his books. Have one of the Polearms in his book. Sadly I'm kicking myself after all these years for not buying one of his swords when I had the chance.

Beautiful spread. You can almost see my axe in that photo ;)

I have just one 17th century cavalry piece but a few other smaller pieces up to the 19th century. Neumann was at Hartford in 2007 and when I met him. There are some amendments older books need.

ACW stuff not so much. The eagles are my main study.

The archery family kids at the table 2019. A short load that year but the young man likes the cutlass, as he called it. His sister said she likes expensive things (DeLeon jungle fighter in hand).

So displaying out on my own and with others over the years.

We probably walked by each other at that 2007 show. Connecticut got woke so the show moved up to Massachusetts. Sadly I retired to Florida and no antique weapon shows down here I know of. Hope you were not the guy at Neumann's table that stood there hogging all the bayonets. I was trying to fit a Rev War bayonet to a Brown Bess I brought along. This guy had all the tables bayonets lined up in front of him. He was fondling and caressing them (weird I know). There was a guy behind him and on the other side of him plus me. All of us waiting to get a look. I politely asked 3 times if I could look at 1 or 2. The guy said nothing and continued to paw all the bayonets. Me and other guys looked at each other like what's this guys problem. I just walked away not wanting to get loud in front of Mr. Neumann and his wife and son. Lucky I found a bayonet to fit at the 3rd of the last table I went to at the show.

You bayonet folks really do live in a little world of your own.

Nope, I was there Sunday to buy a sword from Joe Salter (NH) a Bolton type eagle pommel spadroon but he wasn't there Sunday. I had hoped to intercept it there. I don't know if it was Don Furr with the nice eagle spread. A rapier and Swiss sabre were a highlight table. Bayonets have only been an occasional blip on my radar. Honestly, my last blade purchase was an Ames musketoon '55 dated.

Last proper sword in 2022, a Bolton sabre.

The Bolton I pursued in 2007, which did become mine.

There are literally thousands of ex-Flayderman items out there, but I only have one that I know of...M1905/06 Experimental #52. He bought it from Colonel Frank Tompkins' estate in the 1950s.

I've got that page (photo 2011)

I've not had that many in a wagon but I had been weekending this many and more. Just some, part of a load being unpacked from storage.

My closet looks like that but point down. Nowhere near as many and my own pile is a short stack.

I was in South Carolina and this rich guy, the kind that doesn't care about something once glhe acquired it, had a Saber sitting outside the scabbard, rusting in an empty wash sink in his garage. I was more than a little upset but it was his sword.
