Its weird the Spanish one doesn't have the Plus Vltra on the pillars specially if it was intended for a colonial/naval officer.
From the times of the Isabella II onwards it was common to 'summarise' the coat of arms to just the Lion and the Castle, but it is still weird they didn't keep the royal crown.'
