Here is a small Flotilla of CSS ships that I have scratch built so far. Some may go the yards for needed repairs.

I am curious about that square-cornered raft or floating battery in the rear of the fleet. Is it a model or your imagination?

I found a story of this floating battery design to protect Mississippi river near Missouri in 1861. There was two devised. CSS Memphis and CSS New Orleans. Memphis was taken out by Adm Farragut around New Orleans in 1861.

Nicely done. Are these all in the same scale?

Yes, scale is 2 1/4" equals 100ft. I could be off by some feet give or take. But trying my best to use the scale.

I've seen some naval wargames including Am Civil War.

No, I've seen those games too. I just enjoy creating them as close to the original ships, love the challenge. I'll havevto post my Union ships next. Getting ready to build Sloop of war vessels. Toss up between the USS Brooklyn or Adm Farragut's flagship; USS Hartford.

THAT's CSS New Orleans, lost at Island No 10.

That was also my first thought.

I'm assuming the square-cornered raft or floating battery vessel to the right is the CSS Tennessee and to the immediate right of the Tennessee is the CSS Virginia ?

Within the next row, is the brown vessel (second to left ) the CSS Arkansas ?
