Cable pudding
Bake in two layers
One cup of butter
two cups of sugar
one cup milk
3 1/2 cups of flour
three eggs
one half teaspoonful soda (Strong)
One teaspoonful cream tarter
Use yolks in cake
Save whites for the top, Beat white to a stiff froth with sugar. After spreading on whites put cake in oven and let brown. cut and sugar pineapple, or any other fruit in season, several hours before using and put between cake when hot.
