It's the crest of Francis the First. First king of France. It's a salamander. "from the Angoulême branch of the House of Valois, reigning from 1515 until his death. He was the son of Charles, Count of Angoulême, and Louise of Savoy. "

My first thought was a cadet branch of House Reed ? . . . in the Game of Thrones universe :D
