Burnside Carbine 5th Model Serial #s

Hi all, I'm new to the forum.
I'm a relic hunter and was fortunate enough to dig a Burnside Carbine from a creekbed about a week ago. After cleaning and preserving, I am able to read the serial number - it's either 37568 or 37588. Is there a was to see which regiment or company this rifle may have been issued to?

Welcome From THE Heart Of Dixie. Very Nice Find. Its not listed in the SRS so it's unit of issue is lost to time.
