bullet molds, etc

Gents, Sorting through these bullet molds. I surmise the well finished and numbered molds are Civil War era, along with a Colt 1848 mold, while the hand forged pieces could be earlier?

Also, what is the purpose if any of the caliber type tool?

From the photos it appears you have a later main spring vise, a wormer and several round ball molds. Is the Colt type mold marked? The caliper device is used to measure distance on a map etc when you had to transfer over to a ruler.
