Possible bullet?

This one driving me crazy. It's flared out at bottom and crumpled on outer edges of tip. It's very heavy . Found at old homesite . If it's not a bullet your thoughts and opinions are welcomed . Found along union troop path but I don't think it's from that but I could be wrong

That's not a bullet with a flange like that.

Will it stick to a magnet? From the picture it looks to be iron. If it's iron it's not a bullet.
