Diorama Blockade runner dioramas back on display

It's great to see such displays being utilized again.

Trivia question. Why didn't Rose Goodhow make it? What got in her way from saving her life?

Ann Blackman's biography of Greenhow says she was carrying 400 British gold sovereigns, or about $2,000 in U.S. hard currency. Each gold coin was a little less than an inch in diameter, and weighed a little over a quarter ounce. That's around 112 ounces, or about 7 pounds dead weight, in a heavy leather satchel that also contained dispatches and important papers. The satchel was attached to a chain around her neck.

She didn't stand a chance when the boat rolled over in the surf. The others in the boat were rescued.
