My husband loves butterscotch sauce so I am always looking for recipes having the sauce.

Apple Pudding

1 cup sifted all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 cups finely chopped apples

Sift flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Cream butter, add sugar and egg. Blend well. Add dry ingredients and then apples. Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with butterscotch sauce.

Butterscotch sauce

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup coffee cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter
1/8 teaspoon salt

Combine all the ingredients in sauce pan and cook over heat.. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick. Serve warm over Apple Pudding.

Apple pudding is always a favorite with my family.

Here is another recipe for it.

Apple Pudding

1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 egg
1 cup nuts
2 1/2 cups chopped apples

Sift flour, sugar, soda and spice together. Cut in butter by hand, add egg, then apples and nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.

I can't say if I had this one. I would try it, but it is a little different. I would try it, just ship it too me and I promise I will eat it. It could be very good, very tasty. Thanks @donna and the rest.
