Season's greetings; this is my G-G-G-Grandpa's death certificate. I've got some minor dyslexia, so I always struggle with cursive. I'm hoping someone can transcribe this for me. I've also attached one of his pension documents since it might be related. I'd appreciate that being transcribed too, but I think I can tell what it says. He was wounded at the Battle of Shiloh but listed as missing, not wounded. I don't know what his particular wound was for sure, but some family says it left him unconscious for days and that he was hidden in a ravine by a member of his company when they were being forced back by a fresh confederate brigade. He died in his sleep on the morning of October 27th, 1921, but he joined the 24th Ohio on May 27th, 1861 and stayed with his company till October 27th, 1865. Thanks for your time; happy holidays.
