Anyone else going to Gettysburg this week?

You think it's too hot and humid here, I just returned from Florida, where the minute you step outside, your clothes stick to you because of the terrible heat and humidity...
There's a reason that I don't go further south than Pennsylvania in the summer. No thank you sir.

Luckily, PCN records the battle walks so I can watch them in the comfort of my living room, in the air conditioning with a beer in my hand. I'm especially interested in the Wright's Brigade tour this year to see if my interpretation is much different.

Just a couple of shots today from Cemetery Ridge to wet your appetite.

I was there today on a American Battlefield Trust hike with about 50 other people. I will be going back on July 1 and 2, but attending mostly indoor events because of the great heat. I'm guessing that the NPS will be cancelling some of their battle walks because of heat related risk.

How are things looking on Herr's Ridge/Mcknight House over by Culp? Curious how the restoration work is coming along?
