2015 Reenactments

I checked the website you mentioned for authenticity guidelines but couldn't find them. Am I just looking in the wrong place?

I don't see any published guidelines. Looking at pictures of previous events sponsored by this group (http://www.appomattoxhistoricalsociety.org/long road home.htm), I think it's safe to assume that typical mainstream event standards should be expected. My personal expectations for appearance, authenticity, proficiency with the manual of arms, drill, etc. don't extend beyond the unit I'm attending with. There's a wide spectrum of authenticity out there, so I ignore everyone else and focus on my own appearance and performance.

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know if any re-enactment groups take part in the annual St Patrick's Day parade in Washington DC? I've just realised that my first full day there in March is that Sunday and I'll have my gear in my bag.
With some planning I probably could get further afield (say within an hour's drive) but just thought I'd ask if anyone knew of any groups that might be worth approaching.

The 28th Mass Company B does the St Paddy's day Parade in Alexandria Virginia (just across the river from DC) every year. I have a number of friends in the 28th and they are a great group to spend a day or weekend with. I just looked at their event schedule but it is still showing 2014.

Here is their link for when you get closer and they have had a chance to update their calendar. If it hits right, I may fall in with them as well, if so I will see you there.
