1864 Stamped Springfield

Hello, New to all this.....mostly interested in the Revolutionary War as farm borders the Saratoga Battlefield....I inherited this rifle dated 1864 (see pics) looks like its the real deal...looking for some experts here to comment..everything works on it

It is the real deal.
Your photos don't show the ramrod.
This would have had shallow three grove rifling, sharp but shallow.

Now thats a nice ACW collectible. Mount a bayonet on it and put it up on the wall of your Man Cave.
 
last pic has the ramrod attached… i will take a pic of it as soon as i can for you
yes, I somehow missed that - it is the right style. Someone who knows more about ramrods than I know might be able to tell more about it if they could see a photo of the cup end of it, head on, and also the bottom of it where there should be some threads.

I am not the expert on these later War ramrods, but some person viewing these will know.
