Did Meade ever return to Gettysburg

During Reconstruction, General Meade spent time in Georgia and later returned to Pennsylvania. Since he passed away in 1872 I was wondering if Meade ever returned to Gettysburg since his home was close by in Philadelphia?

I believe he also made a suggestion to reinter the confederate bodies in a similar fashion in another location on the battlefield, possibly on the Blocher or Mclean farm.
