K&C Diorama

New the forums. Thought I would share the small King & Country diorama I put together a few years ago. Hope you enjoy.

Wow that's an amazing action scene. Great job on the groundwork and the positioning of the figures look very natural.
My only complaint would be , not enough pics .

Very nice! Like @rebel brit the first thing I noticed was how well the figures convey the chaos of battle. The detail on them is amazing and the terrain particularly well done.

I trust you have provided 'expendable' toy sets for them (if they are old enough)… I can't imagine the ACW nut I might have become growing up with something like this in the house!

He's got some of the painted plastic Britains.

Doesn't play with them much since video/pc games are so much more immersive now.

Spends much more time playing the civil war mod on Men of War, which I'm good with also.

Just a few personal observations:

#1. I love the King & Country collections.

#2. That is not a small diorama.

#3. A brilliant idea for keeping your young son occupied and away from your work.

#4. There's no doubt you married a great girl !
( not too many Ladies would allow such a "small" diorama in thier house ).

Really like the details shown in the uniforms, accoutrements and weaponry of the figures in this diorama. Also like the variety of Confederate outfits displayed. The crowding of figures together gives the scene an added sense of realism.

Thanks for posting the additional photos. I didn't see General Lee in the first group of photos. I thought I had seen enough K&C to get an idea of their figures but these are nothing like I've seen. Very nice figures.

I can now see why they the old adage is true: "I've never seen a dead cavalryman on the battlefield."

I may have to check out the K&C figures. My buddy directed me to a figure I'm really interested in.
This would pass for the early uniform of the 17th Mississippi Regiment.
