Well,i just startef to do some geneology. My g father Lives in st Louis avard(?).from 1854-1867 circa. Which regimemt sid ge beLong to? 10th,Mo inf ,H and probobly c Company

Well Eric Emil Ericsson was born in Wase sweden 1 july 1835. Fathers namn is Per Ericsson. He emigrated to America in 1854 and Married (Swedish name Maja Lisa) Mary Elisabeth (born 1832) in 1856-1858. 1860 he lived at St Louis Ward 4, St Louis (Independent City), Missouri, United States. He moved 1868 to Nebraska (Lincoln, cottonwood, omaha) and stay there until he died in denver,colorado 1920. I also have a unsure source that he lived in Adams, Illinois.

He was almost certainly a Unionist, like the other Germanic/Nordic immigrants of the time. Missouri was deeply divided at the time, but St. Louis with its large German immigrant population was firmly Unionist.

Apparently he transferred out. Let me dig a bit more.
