Climbed that many times with my boys when they were young. Went to a concert there one 4th of July (1979 I think). People packed picnics and spread out on the ground to enjoy the music. Wonderful memories. I really wish I had taken photos.

Unfortunately, I didn't climb it when I went in October due to someone saying there were wasps up there. My legs probably would have died if I did

Certainly unique and impressive. Took many years to complete due to financial problems.

Beautiful point of view. I took accompanying signage when I was there. Did not know Wilder was later mayor of Chattanooga in 1871.
