Rocks, trees and grass eh! Well that narrows it down. My guess is looking west from the 7Th Wisconsin monument on Stone Avenue.

South is the new clue. This could be on the path to the Slyder Farm kind of looking north east.

I agree, there is the path that goes from the 1st Vermont all the way to the Slyder Farm. There is a stone wall that that path cuts through. I was just down there but I don't recall if that stonewall looks like that near the path. I know it is a talker stone wall elsewhere. But if you stop where that path cuts through the stone wall and look east north east there is a tree line like that. That treeline then turns south and goes back to SCA. So that could be it.
