War Dated Letter from Meade... Help Decipher

Anyone feeling up to the task of trying to decipher this letter...?
I got most of the first page before doing some online searching. The first page is:
I have to thank you most sincerely and gratefuly for your generous and much acceptable sweet (the webpage noted below says "segars"- makes sense) received today - their arrival was much opportune, as my stock on hand was much exhausted + I was awaiting a new supply, which from some cause unknown was delayed.

The rest of the first page and into the second starts with "I wish you would persuade Cram to join you" and is at the site below.
