I need help identifying this relic my dad dug.
I believe it to be a Vermont Stag. I am looking for info about where it originated, what it was used for and it's value. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I thought I had seen something like that worn as a Canadian regimental cap badge or collar device. Or maybe British. Nothing with antlers that simple and the basic triangle shape.
This is a picture of what I inherited of dad's relics that he dug in campsites and skirmish areas. I was told the buckle (bottom right) is post Civil War. ?
Thank you very much for all of your help.
6lb cannon ball dad dug near Fort Donelson, Dover TN. On the bottom of the stand it says
" dug directly across from Ft. Donelson probably shot by CSA troops at Federals".
This is my Great Great Grandfather in his homemade Confederate uniform holding his Bible. He was 43rd GA Regiment. Also pictured ... his UCV 1911 reunion badge.
I'm not sure what the Constitution buttons are from or used for.
Yes those are Georgia state buttons. We need to see the back marks to determine the age. This seal was used all the way up to ww1 for Georgia units. Again beautiful collection and being family history it is very special! Thanks for sharing pics!!
I will see if I can get pics made of the backs. I assume that they are post CW since they're with his reunion badge. You all are GREAT !!
Thanks so much for all of your input and help. BillM
