After reading about "Upon The Tented Field" here on the discussion boards I decided it was right up my alley so I bought a copy online (slightly used). My copy arrived today and to my surprise it appears to be signed by the editor, Bernard Olsen!

I don't know if mine is unique in this manner (for all I know each copy is signed 😀) but the book was signed with the name Bernard Olsen and was dedicated with "best regards" to "Mike and Alex" back in 2009. It could very well be that I have a book signed by the editor/creator of the book! This is a first for me. I just thought I'd share my unique and newest member of my literary collection!

Can't wait to get into it. I think I'm really going to enjoy it.

That is without a doubt Bernard's signature. I knew Bernie Olsen quite well at one time as we both were involved in local N.J. historical events. I haven't seen him in many years. He also has another book titled A Billy Yank Governor which he signed for me. I lent it out and it was never returned. Look up the book on ebay and you will find autographed copies and it will match you signature.

Wow! That is cool! And thank you for the reply rebed19th 👍. I think I'll research some more about Mr. Olsen, and I'll check out his other book as well. Now....if we can only find out who "Mike and Alex" are 😀.
