You've gotten some interesting color effects from the sky. The jet contrail in the first picture, if you notice it, is about the only thing that tugs you back into the present.

I've seen firemen's helmets with an eagle head at the front just above the badge, but to have a whole large bird is a bit too much. You should have told that fireman to shake his head.

Confederate 12 pounder cannon looking into the valley between the Roundtops, where Farnsworth failed cavalry charge took place. The sun is positioned exactly over Little Roundtop.
 
Seriously, these are fantastic images! But how do you manage to get up so early? When I get up early enough to see the sun rise, at most I only get 3 hours of sleep.
