Unknown officer, Fort Brown

This unknown first lieutenant was photographed in June 1863 at Fort Brown, was one of the soldiers who watched the westernmost corner of the Gulf, on the border with Mexico: the city of Brownsville. Probably as for other officers photographed in the same period in fort Brown, was on the staff of General Hamilton Prioleau Bee.
