Greetings all,
Can some of our artillery experts lend a hand in identifying this cannon please?
I have been told there are no names, dates or marks on it, seems strange. Replica? Carriage is sure shot. Thank you!!

Replica . The bore of the tube would not be so much smaller in the real thing .

Its a home made job but the barrel appears to have been turned so someone put a lot of work into it.

Does it appear to have two rather pronounced cracks in the barrel?
Yep. I think the touch hole is on the bottom and they cracked the tube firing and someone turned it over.

It is a cracks and the outer barrel is aluminum with a steel insert as you can see the rust on the end of the barrel and the aluminum showing on the bottom where the paint has come off.

I just want the wheels for my next Lost Cause build.
