While I have been in the area several times, I have never visited Tunnel Hill. I am not sure why I opted to not visit.

I went and took the guided tour in both 2016 and 2018. Neat place and love the history. Gen. Hood spent the night there the day before he was evacuated to Richmond after his wound and amputation at Chickamauga. So many other historic Civil War sites all around it too.
