Edged Wpns The Tiemann Bowie Knife

Tiemann was a surgical instrument maker in the 1840's and made very few Bowie Knives. This is a very rare American maker and this knife was featured in the historic Arkansas museum exhibit. And then published in the Sure Defense Book.

This one is not. We can tell from construction. And that clam shell pommel makes it a NY maker. There has been speculation it could be Rose. But all the experts decided It was Tiemann and it was published that way.
