The Payne Bowie Knife

This knife is attributed to William Henry Fitzhugh Payne. It a VERY rare Sheffield Bowie and Very early 1830s-1840s. Rosewood Coffin Handle with wonderful Nickel Silver Pins. Escutcheon is coin silver and the hilt is also wrapped in coin silver. The narrowing tang is also silver plated. This knife is also featured in the Antique Bowie Knife journal.
