A Michigan family has a 141-year-old fruitcake which is brought out - but not served - every Christmas:

The rock-hard loaf is apparently still safe to eat.

Didn't have any fruitcake this year. I have to be careful with sugar and husband can't have nuts. We do both miss fruitcake.
