Meet the new addition to my flock!! #18!!
It's from the Campbell and Emerson collection, the ones who literally wrote the books on insignia!!! Im not even dropping the mic I'm throwing it down.
The pictures don't do justice, it literally shimmers in the light. As always I am surprised just how small and delicate all the items are. The kepis and uniforms have such tiny details and being able to hold them takes it to the next level. Though it makes me laugh when some people throw uniforms and headgear on a table and then want top dollar but make no attempts to showcase or care about the item.
I got a chance to stop and chat with many of the dealers at the Franklin show today we all talk about here and they're all so nice, you can see the passion in peoples eyes when you ask about an item. They get so excited to talk about the history. I went in for a shell jacket and there was a $1000 swing between prices between tables haha but this will do just fine.
