Great picture!
I read articles about turkey, cranberries and stuffing prepared and sent to General grant and Union soldiers.
Donations were provided by citizens to help men celebrate the holiday in some camps.
Many men, were not so lucky and had very little to eat on the holiday.
We are truly fortunate for our bountiful tables.
