Its not the Royal Military Academy as the sword appears to be a US Army model 1860 F&S. The MA is Military Academy as far as the R take your pick of any number of MA that start with R
 
This story on this sword is in the weapons and ammo forum { Id'd Sword Re-united }. RMA = Randolph Macon Academy in Virginia class of 1936-1939. I mailed out the sword to the original owner a WW2 vet. and he should receive it in a couple of days. The main reason for this post was to see if I could get a photo from the camera to the forum . Woo Hoo it worked .
