Sword Identification

Saw this sword this evening. Assuming post Civil War to Spanish American War, or later. Hoping some experts here can help identify it. Unable to access any markings since it is suspended in the air. Thanks in advance.

From the photos it very hard to tell almost like a Dragoon sword.
