This recipe for Summer Salad is from "Old Time Recipes To Enjoy", "The Kentucky Explorer Magazine", July-August, 2016.

One cup of diced cucumbers, one cup of cut celery, one cup of diced radishes, one fourth cup of grated onion, one dozen medium sized lettuce leaves, and one cup dressing.

For dressing, I recommend oil and vinegar.

Love the salad combination, thanks for sharing! I love radishes and I really feel they are quite underused today when it comes to salads. Many of the salad 'bars' that have dozens of possible ingredients never seem to carry radishes. I always love makes some of the radishes into those cute little roses. I know its a bit corny, but my grandmother taught me how do that and I always thought it was a neat way to dress up a salad presentation wise.
