Small Scale Ambulance Scene

Once again these are Perry miniatures . To give you an idea of the scale , the ambulance wheel is the size of a quarter. There is another thread discussing ambulance color , but I went with green . I used 4 X 6 picture frames for the base and background . The stone fence and rocks were made out of cat litter .Painted in acrylics . I have one more Perry project to do , but that will be much larger and will take some time .

Like all of your work, it so well done. It's amazing how much a backdrop adds to the diorama.

When you paint in this smaller scale (28mm), verses the larger scale, do you change your technique in anyway from that of painting larger figures?

Yes , you make the highlights and shadows more drastic . Unfortunately some gets washed out in the photo and then you see errors in the photo that you don't see with the naked eye . It's also hard to get the image well focused when it's so small.
