Were alot of them destroyed or removed?

Had never really thought of it before, but this area was slaveholding. If there's a abandoned period cemetery, say town and church been gone for a long time, and it's an abandoned cemetery in the woods, there is ussually white section with nice markers, then a slave section in the back with crude markers or rocks.

But oddly enough, virtually every period cemetery round here still in use.....there is no slave section.......rather strange the abandoned ones have them, but the ones still in use from the same period don't.

Has anyone else noticed that in their areas?
