Sgt Major. Michael A Ayers was in the 11th WV infantry he had detailed diary's during the time my ancestor was an officer in the 11th WV I would love to see if his death or anything about Lt. Curtis was mentioned, if anyone has access to them I would be very greatful. I don't know if they were ever in print or only put away for historical research. It never hurts to ask I guess.
