I'm just gonna start by tagging @Bob Velke since I'm guessing he knows better than anyone. But hey all are welcome to chime in!

Is there any way at any site to search pension records by the unit where the soldier served? I'd like to find everyone who filed for a pension from a specific regiment but so far, no luck.

When asked to choose a company, you can choose "Select All" but be careful: the resulting list is not alphabetical. It will misleadingly list everyone in Co. A from A-Z and then everyone from Co. B from A-Z and so on. Sigh. So there's really no advantage to choosing "Select All" as opposed to just looking at one company at a time.
