I'm fairly certain those portraits are done and done well too! (Zuzah and CivilwarinColor)
I did do the first Surgeon General to serve in the war..and he's a Brigadier General. I'll have to put him up.

Have you ever colored any photos of ladies of the Civil War, like Mary Todd Lincoln, Varnia Davis, or Mrs. Lee? I don't think the ladies are done very often. They are an important part of this time.

I do not yet and I have thinking the same thing that the ladies need colorizing! Mary Todd has been done a few times. I haven't seen a great photo of Mrs Lee yet. Do you know of one? I'd like to find a good image to start with.
