Rose Run at Gettysburg

I love going to spots where there was significant battle action and you never see anyone there and there are no markers. This is spot along Rose Run where the 9th Georgia of Anderson's Rebel brigade spent some time firing on Union lines on Stony Hill on July 2.

Sort of like the opposite of the scenario of my picture. I walked around that area a lot. It is especially nice to be able to see the monuments so clearly without the leaves.
