Robinson Rifle Opinion

How does this rifle look. I cannot find a date on the barrel but I do see a W.J.b.D.(??) above the stock and the cartouche on the stock. I have highlighted them with a red circle. The lock is dated 1863.

The barrel maybe a replacement plus the rear sight does not match the patina of the barrel so that too might be a replacement. What's with that ramrod? Seems too short! Also what's wrong with the nipple? Seems not to be screwed in all the way. Of the 30,000 he delivered, 12,000 were delivered in 1863 at $20 each, the rest in 1864-65.
What's the asking price on that?

Thank you for the help. Yea I thought it looked alittle odd. I have to make an offer if I am interested. Not sure what a parts gun is going for?

That's a good question. Pedersoli repros are going in the 4 figure range but the most recent complete one of these sold for 700.00.
