Hi guys, I'm new to Civil war reenacting and I'm just wondering if anyone has any reproduction food labels to share? Possibly a PDF file or something we can print to make period looking food/items.
I can't speak for sellers, but my Captain went out of his way to make a pdf of authentic looking labels for our rations. A little pow quality, but it looks like it was done with a printing press, that's for sure. I'll see if he's willing to share.

South Union Mills offers a label kit along with a lot of other personnel items https://www.southunionmills.com/mid-19th-century-label-set/ Welcome to the hobby by the way. Little details like this make a big difference for a little bit of $. I like the way you're thinking being new to the hobby,
Sullivan Press sells some labels. He was at the Hale Farm Event, and he had some that came with a period "False Lid" to place on top of the unopened can.
