Reenacting in 2017

I did not see my ugly mug in any of them. Did you spot yourself?
Keep checking back, every time I look he has added a few more. He was around our company quite a bit Saturday so I was in a few. Didn't see him Sunday. If you go back and look in #84 I'm the first one standing just center left, brown beehive hat, reaching into my cartridge box. In # 120 I'm just left of the captain. I can see my hat or a part of me in a few more but those were the best. After I think he's done posting new ones I'm going to try and contact him and see if I can purchase some of those.

I'm bummed I wasn't able to make it to Mumford this year, it was my first Civil War event as well. I also remember spending a lot of my time on my feet on Saturday drilling, drilling, drilling in front of people on the green, etc... Sunday was a bit more relaxed. My favorite battle there was when we attacked the breastworks, first time I was able to go "hand to hand" during a fight. The dance Saturday night was one of my favorites at an event so far.

Does anyone know of a good event in September? Aside from AP Hill's March on September 15-17, I don't have anything else until Cedar Creek in October...

Gotcha. Since the crowd was to our left, he pretty much got the 37th NY exclusively. We were all the way over on the other flank. But near the end, as we got shot up, I was more central. Then I ran out of caps and had to take a hit. C'est la guerre.
If I had known we were about the charge the fortifications, I would have stayed up!
The photographer takes some great shots. If I were you, I would want to buy them too.
