They don't come around very often and when they do they are a bit more past your typical breastplate price. I've seen a few go for around the 300 mark and some a little less at times when dug. I saw that too and was wondering who got it. Congratulations @2ndDEboy

Yes just wondered if it's worth more than what I paid!!! In this shape lol 1085.00 I paid for it
Incredible breastplate. It's obviously worth what you paid for it to you. Others wanted it too. Time is one's friend in collecting. I regret every single rifle or piece of gear I've sold with each passing five years. This breastplate is quality and will demand good money as long as money for old stuff still counts. I had a collection of six WW2 German G41m and W rifles not 15 years ago. Could have quadrupled my $ if I still had them

Unfortunately that price isn't close to any that have been for sale that I've ever seen. The most expensive triple marked one I've ever seen was in the 450-500 range and as low as 265
Guess it depends on the market and who wants it lol

Of course, that's what any of this is really. Just how bad you want the piece. I think we all do it, I've overpaid for a few of my pieces because I just had to have that particular piece. One of my very first cartridge boxes was overpriced and only now after years has its retail increased to what I paid at the time. You got a fantastic breastplate though and not one that many people have. I think that's an excellent addition to your collection. When I saw it I thought about bidding but quickly forgot about it. I would have been blown out of the water had I tried to bid.
