Preservation Fundraising idea

Ok, this might not be the greatest idea ever...but I happened to think of a way to raise funds for preservation efforts. Someone on here might have the connections to try to get it started. The idea is to sell tree saplings from trees on battlefields. Maybe it has been done, but it just seemed like a neat idea.

I think it's a novel idea. If not raising large sums of money, it should at least raise awareness of the need for preservation.

It was done back in the '90's, I believe. You could buy saplings from almost any CW battlefield. I just can't remember who was selling them.
